John is the founder and team leader of The Backer Team.

John is an Air Force veteran who has 30 years of technology industry experience including nearly 10 years at IBM in a world-wide role. He was first licensed as a Realtor in 1992.

John has earned his e-Pro, SFR, and Home Staging Expert certifications in addition to being ExpressOffers Certified, eXp Relocation Certified, and helping new eXp agents as a Certified Mentor and was awarded the Arizona eXp Mentor of the Year for 2021.
